Добрый день! Друзья, если вы захотите выбраться с Северной Горы пешком к Вестеру на Горького, то лучше всего идти по Лесной или по параллельной ей Озерной (которая в отличие от Лесной не имеет в конце "загогулины" из-за проходящей рядом железнодорожной ветки). Еще одно отличие - Озерная это новая улица с современной застройкой, среди которой изредка встречаются советские дома и еще реже - немецкие. Озерная примечательна еще и тем, что она разделяет улицы Островского и Гайдара, которые фактически лежат на одной линии. Продолжением Озерной за перекрестком является небезызвестная улица Демьяна Бедного, "ограничивающая" парк Макса Ашманна. Good afternoon! Friends, today I will tell you about my experiences on the environmental situation in Kaliningrad. Living outside the Kaliningrad region and reading forums, I often faced with the discussion of this topic. The main impression of newcomers - "what  delicious air is in Kaliningrad"! It seemed plausible - after all, there is difference between maritime and continental climate, and maritime climate ceteris paribus is healthier. But the first olfactory impression on arrival at Kaliningrad South Station was the smell of car exhaust, which was especially pronounced when compared with usual - not less - gassed condition of central Russia. After some time I realized what was happening. The air in Kaliningrad, for obvious reasons, is more humid and in the absence of contaminants is more healthy - both by virtue of marine mineral content, and simply due to the fact that the moist air is better absorbed by lungs.
